Author Guidelines

The Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Finance (JOCAF) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts in accounting, finance, governance, sustainability, and related interdisciplinary fields. Authors are encouraged to submit scholarly works that contribute to theoretical development, empirical understanding, policy formulation, and professional practice.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country. Please read the full Author Guidelines for more information.

JOCAF publishes peer-reviewed articles in two (2) issues annually in:

  • June
  • December

There is no specific date for publication of articles, articles are published immediately they are accepted

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • The manuscript follows the official JOCAF manuscript template.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • The similarity index does not exceed 20%.
  • References and citations are properly formatted.
  • Ethical standards and research integrity principles, including permission to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with the submission, are fully observed.
